In Mcleod Ganj, there is a beautiful complex that houses a traditional Buddhist temple as well as the residence of the Dalai Lama. Pilgrims come from all over India and from Tibet to make the clockwise circuit around the complex known as a "kora". Walking this circuit with these pilgrims and monks was a very special feeling. Unfortunatley, they cannot practice these same religous rituals in Tibet due to Chinese persecution so here in India and in Nepal are the only places that they can take part in these important exercises in their faith.
